In fact, spending most of your precious with TV binges is the worst injustice you can do to yourself. It has got some adverse effects on your brain and health. I’m not saying it’s bad to watch your favorite movie or other programs. I mean, you must not substitute the time you need to read a book or a business journal on screens.
When you make TV bingeing part of your evening routine, it can lead to an addiction and you can’t help it but to sleeping your nights out watching what satisfies your instant gratification. At the end of the day, you end up getting poor quality sleep which affects your productivity the next day. Your overall work performance is compromised and you end up interfering with the quality of life that you were meant to live. Also, watching TV is a passive activity, thus you are not educating, not developing… What if you read a book instead?
